Felipe Gordon Feat. Paul Shapiro – Elisa / Resonant Memories [Nervous]

One of the keys to Nervous' longevity has been our willingness to take chances on new producers and new sounds. As long as a track retains the essence of House, we encourage producers to experiment by combining it with other musical genres. And if the result is creative and strong enough, we are always ready and willing to create a new sub-label and logo to go with that fresh sound.

Back in the 90s, we noticed a movement towards fusing House with Jazz elements, which led us to create the Nervous Chill sub-label. Now, all these years later, we are once again seeing a renewed appreciation for Jazz sounds, flow, and energy from some of the world's most outstanding House producers, so we have decided to relaunch the Nervous Chill label.

For this relaunch, we have the talented and dynamic producer Felipe Gordon, with two tracks: "Elisa" and "Resonant." Both feature the legendary musician Paul Shapiro, who has been key to many of House's most celebrated tracks, including "The Whistle Song," where he contributed the signature whistle. "Elisa" features an upbeat rhythm brimming with energy, enhanced by Paul's jazzy flute, while "Resonant" has a deeper, slightly more aggressive tone, driven by Paul's hypnotic and free saxophone.
