Felipe Gordon - Errare Humanum Est (LP)

"Errare Humanum Est" comes from the Latin proverb "To err is human." As a musician and human being, you constantly face "errors" in your compositional work and instrumental performance. Felipe Gordon presents his second conceptual album under this premise: you must accept and consider mistakes as a crucial part of art and life.

During late 2022 and early 2023, the musician and producer worked on a new album in his home studio "El Dorado" in Bogotá, Colombia. Attempting to create a completely new concept and universe, he revisited some forgotten musical sketches, exploring everything from breakbeats, synthesis, boom bap, deep acid to house music. Felipe presents his new album, a melting pot of musical ideas. Again, he doesn't seek to achieve a long album full of dance floor tracks, but rather a complete listening experience, focusing not only on dance matters, but also on everyday musical enjoyment.

With advanced distribution and collaboration from the powerful Rotterdam-based label, Clone Records, and seeking to create a more independent environment for his releases, Felipe is creating his own record label "Wide Awake," focused solely on sharing and creating a platform for his constant production.
