Prolific Colombian producer Felipe Gordon returns to RNT to deliver his first installment in a two-EP/album series. The record kicks off with the swinging "Strings of the Afterlife," evoking classic Chez-N-Trent style vibes, and transitions to the emotional and soulful tones of "The Fall of A Withered Empire." On the flip side, Felipe takes us into high gear with the hypnotic looped synth groove and relentless beats of "Clásico," and gently lets us down with the jazzy sway of "Julia y Luis." A truly outstanding EP, even for Felipe, who consistently delivers quality.
