Few labels in techno are as consistent as Planet Rhythm. This latest 12" comes on fiery red vinyl, and Federico Gandin is in charge of fanning the flames. There's no messing around here, as "The Storm" quickly kicks off with classically inclined minimalist techno grooves, with urgent calls and synth pulses. "Les Intrepides" then combines an elastic and flexible bassline with sound effects that rush and punching beats. "The Hideout" is glitchier, with broken loops and overlaid drums that carry you along, while "The Arrival" brings up the rear with a serene and deeply cosmic style of techno.
