When Norman Cook first toured America as Fatboy Slim, he left audiences both fascinated and bewildered by combining his own big beat breaks and productions with elements of The Rolling Stones' classic, 'Satisfaction.' He also chose this concept as the opener for his first Glastonbury performance.

Two decades later, and with permission from Mick, Keith, and co., he has turned that idea into an official release: an explosive reinterpretation of his late-nineties UK number one hit, ‘Rockerfeller Skank.’

As is often the case with Cook, it's a devilishly simple idea executed flawlessly. Essentially, he replaces the original surf-rock guitar sample with the main riff from ‘Satisfaction’ and adds selected snippets of Jagger's lead vocal, all carefully dosed and manipulated for maximum dancefloor impact.

In short: a large dose of nostalgia and sweaty energy to ignite the party, condensed into a single track.
