fabric presents: salute brings together music from both pioneers and contemporaries, including Kerri Chandler, Bodhi, Dorian Concept, Junior Sanchez, Redhead and more, alongside two original tracks from salute. More than just a collection of tracks, it's a cultural statement: a journey through club culture, personal identity, and global roots. To celebrate the release, salute will headline Room 2 at fabric on October 10th, accompanied by a carefully selected lineup (to be announced), bringing his vision full circle, from the mix to the dance floor.

The lead single, ‘double luxury’, sets the tone for the project and captures salute's signature blend of soulful energy, deep groove, and euphoric liberation. Built on a spacious low-end and an underlying current of euphoria, warped vocals intertwine with polished, propulsive drums to shape a house cut that channels the emotional intensity and groove at the heart of his sound. After a whirlwind summer, with standout sets at Coachella, Glastonbury, a North American tour, and All Points East, ‘double luxury’ serves as the perfect gateway to a key chapter for one of club culture's most vital voices.

“my contribution to the fabric presents compilation series is my way of contextualising the music I’ve been writing over the past few years. I wanted to include snippets of everything that makes up the salute sonic palette: loop and sample-based house music, dense and soulful chords, beautiful synths, and slick, groovy drum work. It's an exercise in beautiful house and techno, or at least my definition of it.”

Born in Vienna, salute has become more than a producer: he is a cultural innovator representing a diverse, queer, and community-driven club scene. Since emerging as one of the most exciting voices in UK electronic music, he has built a reputation for balancing raw emotion with dance floor ecstasy, weaving grime, UK garage, electro, French house, jazz, gospel, R&B, and hip hop into a singular, unmistakable vision.

His music channels both emotional resonance and physical liberation: tracks that transform longing into euphoria and intimacy into collective celebration. This ability has not only captivated audiences worldwide but also earned him recognition from heavyweights like Four Tet, DJ Seinfeld, Floating Points, Skrillex, Fred again.., Annie Mac, and Benji B. His already legendary Boiler Room Melbourne set, one of the platform's most viewed, further solidified salute's reputation as a defining force in the global underground.

The release of his debut album True Magic in 2024, via Ninja Tune, confirmed salute as one of dance music's most vital voices, ratifying what the underground had known for a long time.
