Laurent Garnier joins the fabric presents series, and details are now available for this bespoke, landmark release. The pioneering DJ and producer will be delivering not one, but four mixes, embracing the opportunity to go even bigger for the London institution in their groundbreaking 25th year. A full-spectrum, multi-genre release, with a UK focus, house, techno, and downtempo mixes. In his words: "diversity makes it richer, makes it better." Eager to pay tribute to the vitality of club culture, his vision is to take us through a sprawling weekend at fabric, from Friday right through to the afters. To make it even more unique, he will also release an original four-track EP – one for each genre. Garnier: "Clubs have been my second home since the start of my career. Once you’ve witnessed that unique connection you can create in a club with the audience, once you've experienced it behind the decks, you know that you are in the place you’re meant to be. This special journey with fabric is of course a tribute to the legendary London club, a place that has been home to so many clubbers, DJs, and music lovers for so many years, but above all, a tribute to all the dance floors and all the clubs in the world."

Sifting through hundreds of records a day, it’s no surprise to hear Garnier describe the track selection process as "complicated". His enriched journey through fabric spans over five hours, with each mix clocking in at 1 hour 20 minutes. Across all four, it’s clear he’s steeped in the present and focused on the future, with most of the selected records released in the past three years alone. The House Odyssey mix kicks off with afro house via South African producer Mr. Blasé, and the vibrant energy continues with cuts from Cape Verde to Chicago, where newer faces like Culoe De Song, Neinzer, and Tal Fussman meet stalwarts DJ Spen, DJ Lady D and Mike Dunn. On techno, his Rhythmic Resonance mix is blistering with hard-hitting moments from Red Axes, John Tejada, Electric Rescue, Works of Intent and himself, as three of his own epic productions are featured. A UK focus underpins the bass-devoted Into The Low-End for fabric heads, featuring Skrillex, MC GQ, Sami Virji, and Martin Badder. On The Way Home settles down for clubbers with a downtempo that explores stunning sounds from Daudi Matsiko, Adriano Koch, Richie Culver and Melody Gardot, amongst others. His EP further displays his mastery of genres. The luminous house track Odyssée Maison is perfect for dancing with Dan Diamond on vocals, whilst Resonances From The D is for techno lovers, with swirling rhythms, ascending synths and scattered hi-hats. Playing With The Low-End is the bass-saturated labyrinth that goes big before On The Way Home eases us out with a torrent of orbiting synths. A release for collectors, especially with the deluxe vinyl and uniquely packaged, limited edition CD, which is out as a physical exclusive on 29th November. The deluxe LP includes a custom slipcase, coloured vinyl of the mixes and a 12” EP alongside a booklet with photos by Garnier. The CD comes with etched tin cases with 25 Years of fabric and the booklet.
