The ambitious follow-up to the acclaimed “Napoli Exchange”. This time, EX GENERATION turn their attention to the Far East.

Destination: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The epicentre of Bollywood. Following an extensive period of digging through rare and eclectic 70’s and 80’s Bollywood Disco records, the duo set about assembling a genuine A-team of studio musicians versed in both Indian classical and Bollywood music. Among these are award winning vocalists Vinay Sugatha Ramadasan and Anuja Zokarkar. Both bring a lyrical depth nurtured by millennia of classical North Indian poetry and melody, where metaphor and imagery entwine with EX GENERATION’s no-nonsense, direct rhythmic and production style, shaping something profound and complex, yet accessible and intrinsically intense.

The result is a spicy masala of disco bombs, cinematic drama and forays into new age and acid jazz territories, evoking the heady sights and sounds of India's cultural hubs, with hedonistic textures and heartbreaking emotions woven into a vivid sonic tapestry.
