Even Drones are a duo from Berlin delivering two distinct vibes on this new release for Freund Der Familie.

“No Clean Hands” kicks off with a heavy, dusty, broken dub beat, infused with King Tubby-esque percussive prowess and a wealth of whimsical melodies floating over a heavy, swirling dub current.

On the B-side, “Twelve Sparrows” is more cavernous but equally intense, with high-pressure bass, sharp hits, and ethereal synths that appear and disappear like spaceships entering and exiting some lost interstellar hub in a distant galaxy.
