Pioneering, uncompromising, yet a frequent chart-topper, sound designer, producer, and performer Enrico Sangiuliano releases a remix EP of his groundbreaking and pivotal track, "The Techno Code." This techno manifesto was unveiled in April, also under his own NINETOZERO label, as part of the "Discipline" compilation EP, and has since accumulated countless plays and accolades on dance floors, radio, and streaming platforms.

The remixes accompanying the original track on this new digital EP are by Kevin de Vries & SLVR, Charlotte de Witte, Avalon & Tristan, along with an additional DJ tool edit version.

"The Techno Code (Original Mix)" functions both as a spoken guide to techno and a celebration of the genre, featuring a deep voice reminiscent of 1950s American announcements or Faithless' classic "This is my church..." Sangiuliano constructs the track following "my rules, the Techno Code": the hi-hats, the main motif, the acid touch... while the voice narrates its effect on the listener and the raver.

"The Techno Code (Kevin de Vries & SLVR Remix)" begins slower, looser, and more stealthy, until it takes shape with a "plucked string" melody and a high-pitched, siren-like note. They also darken the bass elements and fragment them, but maintain the clarity and prominence of the main vocal.

"The Techno Code (Charlotte de Witte’s Acid Code)" adds hoover sweeps, spatial chords, and a beat with hypnotic beeps that embed themselves in the mind. As the title suggests, the "little bit of acid" from the original becomes the effervescent main theme here. The reordering of phrases emphasizes the idea of a "journey" and reinforces tension and anticipation.

"The Techno Code (Avalon & Tristan Remix)" (digital exclusive) reduces the narration to a powerful introduction and brief interventions processed with echo, robotic effects, and distortion... everything revolves around anticipation: what you're about to hear, here it comes... The acid reaches sulfuric levels with a pulsing, vibrant synthesizer, in a dizzying psy-trance journey.
