Emmanuel - Planned Obsolescence Part 2 [Arts]

ARTS is the independent techno label founded by Emmanuel in his native Rotterdam. In May, he released the original EP from which these tracks are taken, and now they return reinterpreted by three heavy talents. Chontane's 1995 mix brings pounding drums and sizzling hi-hats over a rising groove that lifts the track on tiptoes. Regent's version of "Illusion Of Choice" is full of energy, with classic chords bubbling over rolling drums. Finally, OFF/GRID's remix of "Ne Media" maintains an equally smooth and seductive vibe, with a panoramic design and an endless sense of looped magic.
