RNT takes a trip south with fresh modern interpretations of a pair of classic 70s Colombian Tropicalia cuts. Sisters Elia y Elizabeth Fleta recorded some of the most beloved pieces of early 70s Barranquilla rare groove, and when Jaime Tuiran (Vagabundo Club Social) presented the project to label heads Aaron Dae and JKriv, they wasted no time in jumping at the opportunity to work with such exceptional material.

On the A side, mysterious up and coming producer Demi Riquisimo crafts a synth-laden tropical banger on his remix of Elia y Elizabeth’s iconic hit Alegria, while the ever-solid Parisian Yuksek turns the track into a tight, mid-tempo disco anthem. On the flip, Bostonian-Colombian BOSQ transforms Soy Una Nube into an explosive high-tempo soul shaker, and Barranquilleros Vagabundo Club Social bring their local, organic, club-friendly flair to their own mix of Alegria.
