Ede - Poptroit [Innervisions]

The next puzzle piece in our series, focusing on the unique qualities of each subgenre within house, comes from Berlin-based artist Ede. Following his appearance on our Secret Weapons, he returns with a genuine representation of pop-style vocals and a penchant for Detroit elements: the Poptroit EP.

The four tracks are characterized by constant, energetic rhythms, bubbling basslines, vocal samples, and synth chords – a combination designed to keep you moving. The EP draws inspiration from different genres and artists, adding a fresh layer to our catalog.

Closing out the release, Dixon presents his Edit of "Do My Thing," allowing Ede to capture his personal vision under blue fluorescent lights.
