Eddie Richards' archives are, without a doubt, among the best for tech house lovers. The Brit was there from the beginning, helping to shape the early incarnations of the genre in the 90s and early 00s, and few have surpassed him since. The proof is in this reissue of a pair of remastered gems on the new likethis label. Destiny, which had never before been released on vinyl, is a silky, synth-drenched cut with crisp drum funk. On the B-side, The Soul is a dusty, minimalist blend of percussion, bumps, enveloping pads, and hypnotic looped grooves.
