The Soco Audio imprint was instrumental for tech house heads at the turn of the millennium, and it was at this time that genre trailblazer Eddie Richards delivered this EP. This is a release we've rediscovered while exploring our warehouse, featuring four exceptionally crisp cuts that still sound contemporary. 'd.comm' blends accurate metallic hits and tightly programmed kicks, accompanied by an expressive vocal sample. Meanwhile, 'Xtrk' ventures into deeper realms with ethereal pads and a smoky atmosphere ideal for the night. 'Someday' offers a more physical and hard-hitting groove but retains a cheeky vocal element. Finally, we find a remix of 'Sinful Sadie', more robust and loaded with dub influences.
