Following his HABITAT debut in 2024 with his standout remix of ‘My Eyes Are Failing’, Echonomist returns to present his ‘Dominator’ EP: a five-track release that captures the Greek artist’s unmistakable tension, groove, and analog character, accompanied by top-tier remixes from Fango and Toto Chiavetta. With previous releases on Innervisions, Exit Strategy, TAU, and Kompakt, Echonomist has consistently built a reputation for fusing raw emotion with future-forward sound design. His prolific output and ability to experiment with different styles have long made him a respected figure within the global electronic music scene. Now, with his ‘Dominator’ EP, he brings that creative force back to Mind Against's label with a powerful statement.

Opening with the title track, ‘Dominator’ sets the tone from the outset: vibrant energy, powerful drums, and siren-like synths cut through a deep, Detroit-influenced atmosphere. Next comes ‘Modulator’, with a pulsing, oscillating bassline alongside broken percussions that curl around distorted vocals. In ‘Use Your Illusions’, the rhythm becomes more drawn-out as it combines raw industrial drums with a pounding kick drum, dub chords, and effervescent synths.

The package is further elevated by two significant reinterpretations: Fango’s remix for ‘Dominator’ takes the track into more intense and pressure-laden territory, raising the stakes with increased rhythmic density. To close, Toto Chiavetta delivers an electro-charged re-reading, shaping the track into a dense and atmospheric journey that prioritizes an evolving groove and deep textural richness.
