A Pleistocene Future may be a future wherein we recede to an epoch that began nearly 2.58 million years ago, but that doesn’t stop the eponymous label from envisioning such regressions as advantageous, nor from continuing to present imposing amphibious techno tracks by producer duo Dynamic Forces. Composed of two Brunos, Di Berardino and Ruggieri, Dynamic Forces make their Pleistocene debut here, releasing their fifth EP, a new four-track body of work that follows in line with four equally robust EPs from 2024. The real show stealers on this EP are “Resolve” and “Holding Out”, two B-side tracks that act as aerators, handling effortless sonic mélange, adding doses of band-passed bruxism, elegant arps, and a hint of industrial techno complexity.
