EVOLV is a visionary window into Dubfire's mind, the journey of the 'hybrid' self and its evolution. Last year in October, an 11-track debut album was released on his long-running SCI+TEC label. And now, just over a year later, Grammy award-winning producer Dubfire returns to that sonic discourse, enlisting an impressive array of names to reinterpret the material, and accompanied by Dubfire's new EVOLV audiovisual show, which picked up where the critically acclaimed HYBRID electronic performance experience had left off.

The eclectic package will feature prominent names such as Glaskin, Arjun Vagale, Nadia Struiwigh, Mathimidori (Mathias Kaden’s dub alias), Maral, Decka, Carl Craig, Truncate, Drumcell, Chris Liebing, Radio Slave & Luke Slater, who have all breathed new life into the original music in their own unique style.

With a career spanning over 3 decades, Dubfire has achieved global success as an artist with relentless drive, talent, and intuition. Groundbreaking commercial notoriety initially came as one half of the Grammy Award winning duo (2001) Deep Dish, before embarking on a truly pioneering solo career in 2007. A career filled with timeless tracks including his early works, ‘RibCage’ (2007), ‘Emissions’ (2007), ‘Roadkill’ (2007) and the highly acclaimed Radio Slave ‘Grindhouse’ remix (2009) which led to a string of other prominent projects throughout the years.

Highlights of collaborative work include projects with Miss Kitten, Luke Slater, Flug & Oliver Huntemann, as well as co-producing two tracks on Underworld’s Barking album. A true artist, he has always been deeply interested in exploring performance technology, showcased with great praise with his HYBRID live show. A two-year world tour began in 2015 and was followed by his retrospective album, A Decade Of Dubfire (2017), a celebration of his immense body of work over the first 10 years of solo artist stardom. EVOLV is Dubfire's debut solo album.
