EVOLV is a visionary window into Dubfire's mind, the journey of a "hybrid" being and its evolution. Last October, an 11-track debut album was released on his historic SCI+TEC label. Now, just over a year later, Grammy-winning producer Dubfire revisits that sonic discourse, calling upon an impressive selection of names to reinterpret the material, accompanied also by his new EVOLV audiovisual show, which picks up where the acclaimed HYBRID live electronic experience left off.

The eclectic package includes figures such as Glaskin, Arjun Vagale, Nadia Struiwigh, Mathimidori (Mathias Kaden's dub alias), Maral, Decka, DEAS, Carl Craig, Truncate, Drumcell, Chris Liebing, and Luke Slater as L.B. Dub Corp, who have contributed their own unique style to the original compositions.

With a career spanning over three decades, Dubfire has achieved global success as an artist thanks to his relentless drive, talent, and intuition. His commercial recognition initially came as one half of the Grammy-winning duo Deep Dish in 2001, before embarking on a truly groundbreaking solo career in 2007. A trajectory filled with timeless tracks that include early works such as "RibCage" (2007), "Emissions" (2007), "Roadkill" (2007), and the acclaimed "Grindhouse" (2009) remix by Radio Slave, which led to a series of prominent projects over the years.

Among his most relevant collaborations are projects with Miss Kitten, Luke Slater, Flug, and Oliver Huntemann, as well as co-producing two tracks on Underworld's Barking album. An integral artist, he has always been deeply involved in exploring technology applied to performance, something he presented with great acclaim in his HYBRID live show. In 2015, he embarked on a two-year world tour, followed by his retrospective album A Decade Of Dubfire (2017), a celebration of his vast output during his first ten years as a solo figure. EVOLV is Dubfire's debut solo artist album.
