With a career spanning over 3 decades, Dubfire has achieved global success as an artist with relentless drive, talent, and intuition. Pioneering commercial notoriety initially arrived as one-half of the Grammy Award-winning duo (2001) Deep Dish, before embarking on a truly ground-breaking solo career in 2007. A career filled with timeless tracks includes his early works ‘Ribcage’, ‘Emissions’, ‘Roadkill’ and the highly acclaimed ‘Exit’ with Miss Kitten. Collaborative work highlights include Luke Slater, Moscoman, Oliver Huntemann, Chris Liebing, Tiga, and co-producing two tracks on Underworld’s legendary ‘Barking’ album. This year will finally see him release his debut album ‘EVOLV’. An 11-track insight into the mind of Dubfire to be released on his long-standing label SCI+TEC. The concept of EVOLV? The journey of the ‘hybrid’ being and its evolution since its first appearance in 2015, as part of his two-year world tour following the release of his retrospective release ‘A Decade Of Dubfire’.

The first of 4 singles will be released in July with ‘Dark Matter’ and ‘Dust & Gas’. Both tracks set a shadowy atmosphere. The rougher percussion and haunting lead in ‘Dark Matter’ are accompanied by a stripped-back sound and glitched vocals sitting in a spaced atmosphere in ‘Dust & Gas’. His deep and minimal drum work is exceptional. The beginning of a sonically evolved journey for his listeners, this album is what many have waited for, with a few unexpected turns along the way.
