Drexciya - Hydro Doorways [Tresor]

Tresor Records is proud to announce upcoming special editions of its entire catalogue of Drexciya and related projects. 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of the passing of James Stinson, as well as the releases of the Transllusion and Shifted Phases albums. In recognition of this, the rights holders, their families and the label have commissioned Detroit-based contemporary artist, Matthew Angelo Harrison, to reconceptualize the artwork for the Drexciya-related Tresor catalogue. These editions will be released sequentially, every two months, starting in early September 2022.

Just one month after the release of the Neptune's Lair album in September, its complementary 12” EP, Hydro Doorways, will be the second in the series and will be released on October 7th. In November, Harnessed The Storm and Digital Tsunami will arrive, followed by the release of Transllusion in February 2023. The series concludes with the eagerly awaited reissue of Shifted Phases – The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope, at the end of March.

These records, both individually and collectively as a catalogue, represent some of the most crucial moments in the history of the Tresor label, with Drexciya's sound and mythical world undoubtedly inspiring entire generations.
