Drexciya - Digital Tsunami [Tresor]

Tresor Records is proud to announce upcoming special editions across its entire catalogue of Drexciya and related projects. The year 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of James Stinson’s passing, as well as of the releases of the Transllusion and Shifted Phases albums. In recognition, the rights holders, their families, and the label have commissioned Detroit-based contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison to re-conceptualise the artworks for the Drexciya related Tresor catalogue. These editions will be published sequentially, on a bi-monthly basis, starting in early September 2022.

Three months after the September release of the Neptune’s Lair album and its complementary 12” Hydro Doorways in October, Harnessed The Storm and Digital Tsunami will follow on November 11th. These will then be followed by the release of Transllusion in February 2023. The series rounds off with the much-anticipated re-issue of Shifted Phases – The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope, at the end of March.

These records, both individually and together, represent some of the most crucial moments in the Tresor label’s history, with Drexciya’s sound and mythical universe undoubtedly inspiring generations.
