Definitive Recordings welcomes a new three-track EP from Dompe, showcasing his unmistakable blend of classic house foundations, driving grooves, and a modern club-focused attitude.

Dompe, also known as Dominic Wagner, is a DJ and producer driven by tireless passion and a natural instinct for the dancefloor. Known for combining distinctive vocals with carefully constructed basslines and arrangements, his sound always pushes forward without losing its roots in house tradition. Based in Berlin since 2011, he founded Jackfruit Recordings in 2017 as his personal creative outlet, consistently releasing music that has earned him both national and international recognition. His double vinyl album, Hippie Crack, quickly sold out and performed strongly on Beatport, followed by French Collection.

In 2025, Dompe debuted on Definitive Recordings with a standout remix of the label's classic Let It Go by John Acquaviva, Olivier Giacomotto, and Dan Diamond, further cementing his bond with the imprint.

Now he returns with a full EP opening with “Reload”, a classic house groove built around a tight beat, a looping piano motif, and a sampled, repetitive male vocal that blends seamlessly into the groove. Raw, hypnotic, and immediately effective on the floor.

“Wave” moves into more percussive territory, taking inspiration from classic tech house energy. Built almost entirely around drums and percussion, the track evolves between rolling rhythms, catchy vocal snippets, and sharp house synths, before returning to a full percussive drive designed for late-night intensity.

Closing out the EP, “Sundown” delivers straightforward, hard-hitting house. Big 909 drums, a 90s-inspired piano, and a vocal sample proclaiming "ecstasy" capture the peak-time feeling of a packed club in full euphoria: direct, euphoric, and all house.

This three-track EP shows Dompe at his most focused: groove-laden, vocal-driven, and made for the dancefloor from start to finish.
