Dj Koze - Rue Burnout [Pampa]

A birth of great music. In his debut on his own Pampa label with the 'Rue Burnout' EP, he plays with deftness and sophistication, implicitly understanding the importance of subtlety, leading from dreamy, restrained parts to a noisy frenzy at the end. 'Blume der Nacht' begins with a looping piano solo of dodecaphonic Arabica, interwoven with strokes of violin bows, penetrating high-pitched strings, almost screeching glissandos, deep angelic chants, and obsessive sharp rhythms. The prodigious 37-year-old producer, consistently creative and audacious, has made a habit of defying expectations, and also works under the pseudonyms of Adolf Noise, Swahimi, and recently Madima Lokkah to redefine the boundaries of electronic music. This audacious concept works perfectly on the main track 'Rue Burnout': it's very rare to find house music so thrillingly light and precisely transparent. The musician discards once and for all the notion of 'Kackmusik' and demonstrates how sounds are capable of creating the most delicate musical interaction.
