DJ-Kicks has tapped Life And Death label founder DJ Tennis for the next installment in their iconic and long-running series. The Italian is the first artist to be afforded not one, but two discs to showcase his style, and he doesn't disappoint. The mix arrives as a double CD and triple vinyl and includes four exclusive tracks. These include a new original track from DJ Tennis alongside Fink, entitled 'Certain Angels,' plus new Tennis versions of tracks by Pole and Frank Brettschneider, and finally an unreleased track, 'Paratrooper,' from acclaimed Tel Aviv duo, Red Axes. In programming these two diverse, eclectic, yet coherent journeys, DJ Tennis demonstrates his singular ability to capture an aesthetic that is subversive yet seductive in equal measure.
