Since his last appearance on Razor 'N' Tape six years ago with a digital-only debut single, Dino Soccio has amassed a large catalog of re-edits, as well as a reputation as one of the scene's most exciting editors. For this reason, we are not surprised that his return to Aaron Dae and J Kriv's reworks label is so good. He offers us a quartet of exceptional works that range from sumptuous, string-laden French Afro-disco (the magnificent "Fred's Groove"), a brilliant, fast-paced and sparkling disco-boogie (the impressive "Star Beaming"), the relaxed warmth of deep disco (the dub and spacey goodness of "Laid Back") and an ultra-sweet, reggae-influenced Afro-boogie (the sublime closing piece "Forgot").
