Austrian producer Demuja (real name Bernhard Weiss) continues to alternate between his own MUJA imprint and other higher-profile labels. He has already released on Freerange, Nervous, Madhouse, Toy Tonics, and Let's Play House, and here he debuts on the mighty Chiwax.

The opening track Berni Macht Blau is beautiful, tactile, and subtly colorful, with female vocal snippets for closed-eyed listening and surprisingly spacious synths wrapping around a warm bassline and crisp deep house rhythms.

He then opts for a tighter, garage house-influenced groove on the smooth and immersive Dove, before turning to classic soul-jazz samples and discreetly danceable beats on All Hell Breaks Loose.

Best of all, however, is the ultra-deep, dizzying shuffle of the closing track Tides.
