Getting his start as a producer for Universal Recording Studios in Chicago, Marshall was one of the most active DJs and producers in the Windy City music scene during the rise of house music in the 80s. Working under a multitude of aliases including Virgo, Jungle Wonz, Truth and On The House, as well as producing for names such as CeCe Rogers, Curtis McClain and Evelyn “Champagne” King, Marshall’s status as an authentic house luminary is well documented.
