Mind Eclipse completes Deetron’s triptych for Running Back. Following Body Electric and Ego Rave, it’s the missing piece in a tale of youthful exuberance as told by an experienced raver and brought into the present. Taking the essence of carefree energy from back in the day - its warehouses and fields - but without the (sometimes) sonic awkwardness, Deetron delivers four studies on the transformation of those emotional states.

Mind Eclipse, also known as Trancehouzztool, does exactly what it promises: big synths swirling and twirling through an extra-long breakdown to induce euphoria - serotonin shower included. HG works as an umbrella against that: almost melancholic in its presence and moving between ups and downs, it's the perfect counterpoint.

On the flip side, Phoenix sounds like a lost Border Community anthem that found its way to a Roland TR-909 for peak time purposes, before The Shore closes the chapter in a hybrid state between electro and disco, or as the soundtrack for IDM followers in a gym routine (also available in an alternative digital version for those who prefer straighter beats).

But there’s no doubt: Deetron knows perfectly well what he’s doing in the studio, so expect the finest craftsmanship, ingenious tricks, and technical mastery. “Until our sweatshirts fall off…”
