DC11 (one better than iconic Ibiza club DC10?) is a master of loop-based techno, capable of building sounds that on the surface appear simple, yet on closer inspection reveal anything but. He’s proven it on labels like End of Perception and TH Tar Hallow, and now lands on the mighty Planet Rhythm.
"The Seal Is The Power" opens corrosively, with truly brutal kick drums, while "The Keyhole Speedrange" moves forward on a thumping bass adorned with cinematic sci-fi details. "Useless Chain" then slips into a heavy, warped dub, with twisted stabs and a latent threat, and the closer, "Someone Who Clearly Doesn’t Give A Fuck," is a piece of constant, escalating loop tension – pure hypnotic techno.
