Danny Daze - Sepicher 91 [Kompakt]

Debuting on Kompakt in 2014 with a masterfully twisted remix of Gui Boratto's "Take Control" (KOMPAKT 302), Miami-based DJ and producer DANNY DAZE had already made a name for himself with releases on influential labels like Ultramajic, Miami's own Omnidisc, Cómeme or Phantasy. But it was the raw and muscular SPEICHER 80 that truly opened our receptors.

Danny's recipe for flexible, electro-infused techno proved to be incredibly catchy and bass-heavy: a bold, futuristic, and funky vision for the dance floor that finds a brilliant continuation in his latest release. Two new exercises in spontaneous chaos star in SPEICHER 91, with the devastating uber-jam SWIM kicking off a strange and wonderful parade of synth riffs, pounding beats, and pure arpeggio anarchy.

On the B-side, the focus is on the razor-sharp, robotic funk of MACHINE, Danny's second collaboration with TRANSLUCENT for the Speicher series, following the powerful "Speaker Language" (KOMPAKT EXTRA 80).
