Danny Cruz, Mark Funk, Dirty Disco Stars, Mirko & Meex - Cruise Music Vinyl Jams Vol X

Cruise Music celebrates its tenth EP offering what it describes as "funky house secret weapons" and there's not a lot to argue with that description. Danny Cruz opens with Shoulda Been You, which flows on smooth grooves with delicate synth waves unfurling over the beats, as soulful vocals rise out of the mix. Mark Funk's True Lies brings a classic 90's vocal sample to an unstoppable soulful rhythm. On the B-side Dirty Disco Stars go all out with Look Up, a big, funky, glorious blast, whilst Mirko & Meex reimagine Young Hearts with their signature touch.
