Here we are with another premiere: the upcoming vinyl release from Cheezy Crust Records and also the debut release from the two-person project called CVSO, titled "Basic Cuts EP". Composed of producers Mint Huus, based in Mainz, Germany, who made his solo debut on Cheezy Crust in 2019, and Get In Touch boss Willberg, this joint project features a total of four tracks on a limited edition of 200 copies on 12-inch vinyl, all appropriately named according to their individual position on the record itself.

Mastered by electronic music legend and pioneer Thomas P. Heckmann, the characteristic sound of CVSO presented on this EP is inspired by classic early to mid-90s Techno as well as Intelligent Techno vibes. Their constantly evolving flow and stripped-down aesthetic fuse subtle harmonic shifts, spatial displacements within the stereo field, and a hypnotic, time-dissolving attitude for intense use on the dance floor.

That said, CVSO settles for nothing less than entering the Techno elite with these "Basic Cuts", providing elegant, absolutely timeless, and expertly crafted DJ tools that seamlessly blend and match the vibe of all those classic tunes that have never left a DJ's bag for a quarter-century or more, even though CVSO approaches their sound design and production approach with a modern and contemporary touch.
