Cristi Cons makes his Crosstown Rebels debut with his latest EP, “Give Me Love”.

Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels label opens its 2026 release schedule with a special debut from Romanian favourite Cristi Cons, who delivers a magnetic three-track EP in the shape of “Give Me Love”. Known for his precise, minimal-laced approach and unshakeable command of the groove, Cristi’s arrival on the label presents a release that distils his signature architecture of tension and release into one of its most direct dancefloor forms to date.

Leading the way, title track “Give Me Love” unfurls with subtle vocal phrases, hazy atmospheres and a rolling, elastic groove built for late-night momentum. On the flip, “Can You Hear Me” channels a cleaner, more hypnotic pulse, with dub textures, restrained bass pressure, sticky vocals and a snaking groove keeping dancers locked in. Closing out the EP, “You Ain’t Got Nothin” brings vibrant synths, precise drum programming and a captivating use of vocals into a focused dancefloor journey that reflects Cons’ innate ability to craft both early-morning and peak-time sonic odysseys.

A long-standing architect within the influential Romanian underground, Cristi Cons has forged a strong reputation through his solo work, collaborative project SIT alongside Vlad Caia and their shared label Amphia, which today stands as a true force within the minimal landscape. Coupled with consistent appearances at key institutions across Europe and collaborations with highly esteemed names, including Raresh as part of his Verico project alongside Caia, Cristi continues to evolve with each release, and “Give Me Love” reveals a new facet of his diverse sound as he joins the Crosstown Rebels universe to kick off the year.
