Coeo - Tonic Edits Vol. 6 (The Japan Reworks) [Toy Tonics]

Coeo has been traveling around Japan and discovered the magic of City Pop: that Japanese disco movement from the 80s. At that time, incredible dance tracks were coming out of Japan. Some with Japanese lyrics, others with English vocals. Often so perfectly played and recorded that it was hard to tell if the music came from New York basement studios or if it was really the work of Asian musicians in local studios. Coeo found many rare gems and made edits for his DJ sets. Since everyone at the Toy Tonics office is always looking for the rare and unknown, the team was very excited. And so, the decision was quickly made: let's release some of these rare gems and edits. Here they are.
