Two decades after label founder Damian Lazarus first booked him to play in the UK, US electronic icon Claude VonStroke finally lands on Crosstown Rebels with Noche Clara, a release that connects friendship, history, and the enduring spirit of the global underground. Built on hazy tones, captivating synth melodies, and enveloping atmospheres, Noche Clara captures the playful minimalism and nocturnal atmosphere that defined his early work. On the B-side, Bam Bam overlays distorted vocals on a psychedelic and dislocated soundscape, alongside a hypnotic and enveloping groove, offering a deep, unsettling, and dominant immersion into the late hours of the night. In collaboration with beatboxer, producer, DJ, and instrumentalist Honeycomb, who recently toured with The Floozies and Dirtwire, the union came about naturally after a joint performance at California's infamous Zenyara, as well as multiple appearances at the Dirtybird festival and beyond.
