Apersonal Music, the Barcelona-based label known since 2010 for its sun-drenched blend of house and disco, proudly presents the new EP from one of its most veteran artists: Cisco Cisco. The Portuguese duo is renowned for creating emotional and energetic house and disco, featuring hypnotic samples and brilliant effects. Their sound has become one of the distinctive signatures of Apersonal’s catalog, and The Heat EP is a luminous continuation of that.

On side A, "Why Can't I Be You?" brings all the energy of classic disco: lush, melodic, and with that soulful groove that Cisco Cisco masters perfectly. Additionally, Ron Basejam returns on remix duties, once again demonstrating his unparalleled ability to transform disco originals into true dancefloor monsters. His version of "Why Can't I Be You?" stretches for nearly eight minutes, slowly building and enveloping the listener in a deep, infectious groove.

On side B, "The Heat" takes a bold turn towards early 2000s French electro house, evoking the raw power of that era. "Under the Bridge" channels the spirit of a Gen X Parisian party, with filtered synths and powerful basslines reminiscent of early Daft Punk. Closing out the EP, Rayko delivers one of his best versions, bringing a darker, nocturnal atmosphere to the release. His remix of "The Heat" is an intense and immersive journey combining electro and techno influences, designed for the deepest hours on the dancefloor.
