Cinthie - Rave Baby EP [Aus Music]

Cinthie joins Aus Music’s 200 series with the Rave Baby EP.

The renowned underground figure delivers three powerful and emotive house pieces. Cinthie has been at the center of the European underground scene for years. The Berlin-based artist runs her refined 803 Crystal Grooves label and the respected record store Elevate.Berlin. With a vast record collection and a deep knowledge of house, she has become a global favorite. She has been a key part of the Aus family for a long time and has recently dabbled in live performances, while continuing to craft timeless sounds ranging from rave-ready to deep and energetic.

This EP is the third in a series of four releases by different artists to commemorate the 200th installment of Will Saul’s influential Aus Music label. A label that has defined an era, pushing some of the scene's brightest stars long before they became established. Since its launch in 2006, the label has remained committed to releasing club-ready music, but with a refined approach, spanning from deep and melodic house to early bass-driven post-dubstep fusions.

Cinthie leans into a more rave-ready and accelerated direction with her title track, 'Rave Baby'. Well-balanced kicks radiate warmth as an agile bassline gets hands in the air, accompanied by crisp percussion that sets the pace. It's pure peak-time fun that truly takes off with rave-style piano stabs and a sensual female vocal. 'I Warned You Baby' dives into a deeper groove that evokes 90s New Jersey, with hazy chords, Nu Groove-style vocals, and robust drum programming full of good vibes. The closer, 'What's Poppin'', is passionate house with depth and energy. Raw percussion, high-voltage retro chords, and another standout bassline make it a first-class weapon.
