Cinthie - Get Up [Heist Recordings]

Cinthie’s Piano Heaven EP on Heist, released in 2023, was a huge success for both her and the label, receiving widespread airplay and support from figures like Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Chloe Caillet, and Blessed Madonna. Dam Swindle’s remix of Won’t U Take Me, included in that same year’s Round Up compilation, remains among her most streamed tracks across all platforms. Now, Cinthie returns to Heist with an EP packed with dancefloor weapons ranging from classic, groovy house to playful, energetic rave.

With frequent appearances at renowned clubs worldwide, as well as on her home turf in Berlin, such as Panorama Bar, Cinthie has the perfect testing ground for new peak-time material. And that's precisely what A1 Deep Inside Love delivers: an epic peak-time anthem. With a pounding beat and characteristic soaring keys, it draws on elements of classic 80s and 90s house, but with a modern aesthetic. All signs point to Deep Inside Love becoming an instant Heist classic.

A2 shows Cinthie's rave side, inspired by the intense energy dominating dancefloors today, or perhaps by her own rave days shining through again after the success of her Rave Baby release on Aus Music. Either way, Higher is a fun track with a contagious beat, classic rave stabs, and a female vocal asking to be taken higher. And it will undoubtedly succeed, because this track is designed for those euphoric club moments.

Get Up is an organ-led track, featuring ethereal strings and dub-tinged vocal chops. The breakdown deepens the mood with powerful chords in true house style, before a drum roll (complete with crashes and claps) catapults you back into the full groove.

For the remix of Higher, her good friend Demi Riquísimo, known for his dancefloor magic and at the helm of the Semi Delicious label, was invited. His version is exactly what you would expect from a producer of his caliber: a fresh, fluid remix, with a slight retro vibe and, above all, a lot of fun. The perfect close to an EP that spans different moods with a clear goal: to make people dance.
