Returning to his Chronicle alias for the first time since 2001, Tim Cant brings his distinctive blend of laid-back atmospherics to the Spatial family with Time and Space on Curvature. Sit back, relax, or dance – Chronicle has you covered for any of those options on this long-awaited return to the scene.

A1 Geosynchronous
Getting straight to the point with a powerful Hot Pants-style breaks intro, Geosynchronous showcases Chronicle bringing his distinctive atmospheric approach to Curvature in style. An early first break with subtle synths and melodies gives way to an ethereal layer of two-step amens and 808 basslines, completing a collage of rhythms as the increasingly memorable melodies slowly weave their story throughout the track.

A2 Life On Earth
Following is Life On Earth, a dreamy, thoughtful experience where Chronicle returns to the late 90s vibe of his alias, with a plethora of classic effects, vocal samples, and a constant cascade of synths. Using a simple yet effective central melody, danceable two-step breaks, and layers of detail that would fit equally well in a Progression Sessions era retrospective set or the modern revival, this track is one to savour.

B1 Future Fragments
A true treat for fans of sci-fi tinged synth atmospherics from eras gone by, as Chronicle transports you to the 99 Shepherds Bush Empire — if you were there, you can now relive it with this track that perfectly encapsulates the era. With frequent echo effects and layers of synths and spatial pads over a catchy melody, not to mention the crisp, flowing breaks, this is a versatile and lasting track you'll return to again and again.

B2 Nostradamus
Closing out the EP, we have Nostradamus, which starts lightly with hi-hats and airy pads before finely edited old-school breaks inject energy into the mix. The breaks build with additional elements, creating a highly danceable and rhythmic loop, marked by a catchy melody. A sample proclaims "The Future Is Power" — if it's in the hands of producers like Chronicle, channeling the past with a modern twist, we know we're in good hands.
