Since his debut in 2007, Christian Burkhardt has built an impressive discography, including numerous releases on renowned labels such as Cocoon, Eastenderz, Raum:Musik and Oslo. Now, he returns to vinyl after four years with a solid EP on Rawax.

The German producer kicks things off with “Dice Pop”, a tactile and spacey homage to formative mid-90s tech-house with an added dash of sonic dreaminess. Then, he deals in grooving breakbeat-house beats, spectral electronica, and a raw analog bass on “But What”.

On “Bee Gees”, Burkhardt leans into a hypnotic, bass-heavy, and spaced-out approach, while “Twofour” comes as a minimal house roller laden with psychedelic and mind-bending atmospheres.
