Following the success of their Watergate 22 compilation, Catz ’N Dogz return with eight exclusive tracks from that mix, spread across two EPs that showcase their ability to effortlessly glide between a wide variety of styles.

EP #1 begins with Catz ’N Dogz’ original track, “Fire Burning When We Are,” a piece where the duo goes it alone to construct an impressive sonic journey that lands somewhere between Carl Craig and Henrik Schwarz, where infectious beats support a set of dramatic harmonies intertwined with euphoric melodies.

“Afterglow” continues in that vein with an attitude-laden vocal by Shaun J. Wright, placed over a journey into a territory where old-school vibes meet a new-school approach, resulting in an authentic floor-filler perfect for any moment.

The EP is completed with remixes by two of the best: Prosumer and Sebo K. Prosumer first takes “Fire Burning When We Are” and transforms it into a massive track with his characteristic touch, evident in the timelessness and maturity of this reinterpretation. For his part, Sebo K delivers a jackin’ version of “Afterglow,” staying true to the original by keeping everything as simple as possible, but no simpler.
