Some records are born of reason, others of the heart. Cara Carpaccio's Weltraum EP is a little bit of both: an interstellar blend of cosmic vibes, disco roots, and a touch of robotic melancholia. It was born at a time when the world felt distant and strange, channeling those moments of isolation, longing, and unexpected creativity into something playful and deeply human.

What started as a studio session without a fixed direction turned into a journey guided by synths we could only dream of, the dry humor of Marvin the Robot from The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, and Cara's passion for cosmic sounds and disco grooves. Tracks came alive in single-night sessions, capturing emotions in real-time.

Cara brought her energy, composing, performing, and singing her way to the stars, with Luis (aka Planet Zwo) jamming on guitar to keep it all grounded. Marabou (Fabian) pieced it all together, connecting equipment, recording, and even finding a remix idea in the middle of the mixing process.

The result is a collection of tracks that balances nostalgia and futurism, melancholy and euphoria. Adding even more thrust to the ship, the EP features remixes by names like I-F + Gerd Janson from Intergalactic FM and Dan Tyler from Idjut Boys.
