For 15 years, he has been a resident at Düsseldorf's legendary "Salon des Amateurs" and has released on other wonderful labels such as Versatile, Safe Trip Records, Dekmantel Records, and Fasaan Recordings, and under his other alias "Wolf Müller" on Themes for Great Cities, Growing Bin Records, and International Feel. Because he lived in a small apartment with too many neighbors, childhood Jan couldn't pursue his dream of playing drums, so he started working with drum breaks in a program on Windows 95. For about 25 years he has been collecting drum samples, however, you won't hear any of these on this record.
