Naturally, there's a certain mystery surrounding this pink label 12" from Bunny Siggalucci. By the way, that's not an alias: Siggalucci was a hugely successful songwriter, producer, and disco artist, often under the pseudonym Bunny Sigler. By The Way I Love Your Pants seems to be a subtly updated, 21st-century rework of Siggalucci's intense 1979 disco track, By The Way You Dance, with New York re-editor Kon at the controls. The main A-side version is simply magical: a masterfully extended, slightly dub, multi-track re-edit that exploits the bone-crushing, Clavinet-laden groove and leverages the most energetic and powerful elements of the original 12" mix. It's accompanied by a powerful, echo-filled Dub mix and a carefully crafted instrumental edit. Simply essential.
