Their second release, under license from Universal / Motown, features two previously unreleased mixes of a classic.

Brenda Holloway's Think It Over (Before You Break My Heart) was recorded in the 1960s, the same decade The Beatles chose her to open their last live concert, but it was not released by Motown in that decade.

It had to wait until the 90s for an acetate copy to surface and begin playing on the UK's Northern Soul circuit. It became apparent how special this ignored recording was. As often happens in the strange world of Northern Soul, the lack of information on the coveted acetate led to the track being credited as Reconsider, the phrase Brenda mainly uses during her magnificent virtuosic vocal performance, which turned out to be incorrect.

Despite that, bootlegs were produced under the name Reconsider and it took a while before the correct information emerged. Since then, legitimate copies have been released and, little by little, this Soul gem, initially unknown to anyone and then misnamed, has become an iconic Northern Soul and Motown anthem.

Demand has been insatiable, and West Grand adds to the mystery by releasing two previously unheard mixes for the first time worldwide.

The A-side spotlights Brenda's vocals, showcasing them as even more impressive than everyone thought, while the B-side demonstrates how incredible Earl Van Dyke and his companions, Motown's legendary Funk Brothers, were.
