Dutch DJ and producer Boss Priester has made a name for himself as an artist operating under the philosophy of "let the music do the talking." Now based in The Hague, he has spent years developing a distinctive sound that blends elements of minimal, house, and techno, releasing on respected labels such as Ba Dum Tish, X-Kalay, Dungeon Meat, and his own BPDUBS imprint. His 2023 EP "Hotel Dijon" on LOCUS marked a significant moment in his career, having long received support from label boss Enzo Siragusa, establishing a connection that now culminates in a solid debut on FUSE. Also championed by prominent figures like Fumiya Tanaka and Samuel Deep, he reaffirms his meticulous attention to rhythm, texture, and groove; his EP "Respect Yourself" further expands his sound with four impactful, precise tracks designed to command the dance floor.

The title track, "Respect Yourself," opens the EP with a hypnotic, synth-driven groove, while intricate percussion and a weighty bassline immediately establish a dominant, floor-focused presence. This is followed by "BP On The Master," featuring a deep and rolling energy, combining minimalist textures and acidic basslines with subtle melodic details. On the B-side, "Future Is Electric" conveys a futuristic spirit, layering shimmering textures over energetic, skipping UKG-influenced rhythms, before "Flava" closes the set with a kinetic, dense, and hazy groove that perfectly encapsulates the evolution of Boss's sound.
