Life and Death welcomes Madrid-based groove master Bawrut with a fresh dose of his distinctive and eccentric brilliance.

Born in Italy, Bawrut produces warm and emotive electronic music that spans different musical spectra from a genuinely off-kilter perspective. His productions are imbued with strange and wonderful sounds, as well as a refined attention to detail that makes them as unusual as they are captivating. He has showcased this on his own Silencio label as well as Ransom Note and PETS Recordings, also becoming a recurring name within the global DJ circuit. In addition to standout appearances at events such as Nuit Sonores, he has also brought his music to places as far afield as Vietnam. Here he brings all that cosmopolitan vision to this new release for DJ Tennis's always refined Life And Death label.

The EP opens with "Rollin'", almost ten minutes of synth-driven excellence that takes you on a genuine sonic adventure. The drums remain steadfast and hypnotic as different layers of pads unfold like auditory fireworks. It's a tense track that never loses intensity and keeps you completely captivated throughout its epic duration.

Equally impressive is "Terza," with its twisted, tormented synth lines, accompanied by chopped vocals that add drama over deep, enveloping percussion. It's a turbulent track that brings a true sense of tension to the dance floor.

Finally, "Drum Beat" stands out with a menacing bassline and tribal vocal chops amidst rave sirens. A sweaty, strobe-lit monster that takes you directly to the heart of the floor.
