Chiwax welcomes Andrew Red Hand for his third outing on the respected house label. We are told it is one of his most intimate and personal releases, and there is certainly plenty of deep, thoughtful energy in In The Cemetery (Part III), with its precise electro rhythms and sustained, introspective chords. Summer Nostalgia is raw, hard-hitting techno, while Autumn Nostalgia ups the ante with a sassy bassline and a heavenly glow of synths. Sorrowful Joy closes with a celebratory feel in the upbeat chords, though the beats remain dense.
