Andrew Azara makes a welcome return to Cécille with his Cosmic Girl EP, which features five original tracks from the Dublin native and Barcelona-based artist.

Born in Ireland and currently based in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Andrew Azara has been making waves since 2019 with frequent appearances in booths across Europe and South America, as well as a strong run of releases on labels like DJEBALI and, of course, Cécille, where he returns after his 2024 Right On Time EP.

The title track, Cosmic Girl, opens with a foundation of solid percussions, dub sequences, and resonant flickers that build tension, while Mattika unfolds with organic percussions, a bubbly bassline, vocal chants, and enveloping synth loops.

The Jam, on the B-side, takes a more raw and minimalist approach with a stripped-back rhythm section, plucked synth notes, and dynamic effects. Obsession closes the vinyl release with a groovy bassline, chopped samples, and heavily swung drums. As a digital bonus, Doing It completes the package with ethereal strings, shimmering chords, and a jazzy bassline over a minimalist rhythmic foundation.
